Ensuring that the ball bounces uniformly and predictably at all locations on the floor is essential to the fairness of the game and the performance of the technique. Optimize player performance: Provide appropriate friction (anti-slip) and a certain degree of elasticity (shock absorption) to enable players to safely and effectively perform actions such as sudden stops, starts, turns, and slides. Ensure player safety: Sufficient cushioning can reduce the impact force on joints (especially knees and ankles) and reduce the risk of injury; good anti-slip properties prevent slipping. Durability: Able to withstand frequent use, friction between rackets and shoes, sun and rain (outdoor venues), cleaning and maintenance, etc.
Number: The surface needs to provide enough friction to prevent slipping, but it should not be too "sticky" and needs to allow players to slide in a controlled manner (especially in front of the net). There are standard test methods for measurement.
